Lately songs have been tumbling through my head trying to waken the sleeping creativity inside to me.
Lifehouse, Nickelback, Seether, OAR, and a bunch more flit through the wasteland of my brain perhaps weaving something. Or just avoiding the mental dust bunnies?
You know the songs that snap, pop, oh my, yeah, that might, really, would that make, uh huh and so on moments that means grab a pen/paper/boot the comp and write?
I’m not one to write with music as I end up listening to the words, the delivery, the melody, or the bass/violins, etc and forget to do the write part. I blame the background in singing back when dust bunnies were fierce warriors and ruled the land over the dinosaurs. See, that’s how the dinos disappeared. It was the dust bunnies. They’re responsible.
Ahem, back to writing or was it music?
